DRAGON CHI(龙气)这个组合由号称"东方现代艺术大师"之称的Osamu Kitajima(喜多嶋修)和Chris Mancinelli二人组成,两人第一次合作是在喜多嶋修在高八度的最后一张唱片"Beyond The Circle"之中,也正是从那张专辑开始,喜多嶋修的音乐风格明显从原来的冥想类逐渐过渡到电子混音类,从风格上而言愈加趋近当今的西方NEW AGE和电子舞曲的流行风格.
从1979年移居美国加州WOODLAND HILL的喜多嶋修,一直致力于从事将东方日本传统乐器日本筝,尺八,BIWA等等和西方电子爵士摇滚乐元素融合起来的音乐事业,为他赢得了世界范围内的广泛好评.听喜多嶋修的早期音乐,开始会觉得十分吃力而不可思议,近乎游历不透的音符很能挑战人体耳朵与思维的极限,这让我刚开始接触喜多嶋修的音乐时表现得非常不习惯,尤其是习惯于日式NEW AGE旋律上口,轻松易懂的人群,喜多嶋修的作品相对而言,就更显得极为"PHYLOSOPHICAL"(哲学性).但是,当你开始注意一些轻微的细节,抓住一点进行发散时,又会亦步亦趋的感受到他音乐中的巨大灵性,以至于对于一些长达数十分钟的曲子,也会感觉意犹未尽.
